I’m James Defton and I welcome you to my writing room.

It seems, in today’s world, it isn’t enough to write stories. You have to have an online presence.

While the only “presents” I need are for my birthday, I’ve staked out this bit of the web as my own.

I’ve decided to get serious with my writing hobby and my plan is to start small and see where it takes me.

To date, I’ve had a half-dozen short stories published (with two more ready for submission) and have a novelette in the works. New, fresh, and original is the bar any writer has to meet so I’ve been keeping busy.

Comments and questions are always welcome. I always reply as soon as I can.
