I’m James Defton and I welcome you to my writing room.

It seems, in today’s world, it isn’t enough to write stories. You have to have an online presence.

While the only “presents” I need are for my birthday, I’ve staked out this bit of the web as my own.

I’ve decided to get serious with my writing and my plan is to start small and see where it takes me.

New, fresh, and original is the bar any writer has to meet so I have much to do.

I’ll be documenting my efforts here and I invite you to follow along.
